Save the date for a special event for a great cause!
The 2009 Metro DC Golf Tournament to Fight Breast Cancer, in its second year at Bretton Woods, is a merger of the American Cancer Society's Virginia and Maryland women's golf tournaments. These former tournaments raised close to $2 million over their 15 year history. The tournament is open to both men and women players with competitions for mixed and single sex foursomes.
Bretton Woods is proud to host this tournament to fight a disease which deeply affects men and women everywhere. All funds raised go directly to breast cancer research and patient services in the Metro DC area.
Here's what they said about last year's tournament:"...the "classiest" tournament we participated in. The decorations and the food were outstanding. All of the volunteers went out of their way to make us feel welcome. It was a great day for giving to a great cause, playing at a great course, and meeting great new people. We cannot wait until next year.
The silent auction was exciting and very diverse."
